Read the Sign

Three real signs a day, the same for everyone. Each sign is shown as you would see it in the street.
Below the sign, its letters (in Hindi, its syllables) are laid out as tiles. Tap any tile to see how it sounds and what each part of it is.
When you think you can read it, press I can read it and pick what the sign means.
Try to peek at as few tiles as you can. Your score and peeks are shared without spoiling the signs.

Arabic signs read right to left, so the tiles run right to left too.

Stuck on a letter? The Alphabet chart tab has every letter, and this tray can stay open while you play. Everything here is a first draft, not yet checked by a native reader.

A bug, a puzzle that felt unfair, an idea? Tell us: we read everything.
